MINISTRIES & PROGRAMS
Concord Presbyterian Church, in all of its current sites, is a family of believers seeking to love and serve our gracious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the communities of Southwestern Illinois to reach throughout the world. We want to grow in knowing and living God's Word in our daily lives. May we serve you and share the good news of Gods grace and love with you?
CARE GROUPS

These are small groups of believers (6-12) who meet regularly in homes or or other locations to share what God is doing in their lives, to study His Word, to encourage each other, to pray for each other, and to enjoy being in the presence of one another.
STEPHEN MINISTRIES

There is no need to struggle alone! Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, to share God's love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing. God does not intend for you to struggle alone. Consider allowing a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey to wholeness.
STUDENT MINISTRIES

Our student ministries exist for the purpose of walking alongside our parents as they seek to raise mature disciples of Christ. Since we believe our parents are the most influential people in the lives of our students, it is our goal to train and equip the parents to be the primary disclipers of their children. However, we also believe that the church, in equipping the parents, is called to walk alongside the children as we engage in faith relationships with their children. We seek to engage in these faith relationships with our students by equipping them with the gospel, by connecting them to other relationships within our church, and by giving them a sense of belonging to our church through service oriented ministries to our congregation and community. All of this is done with the hope of 'building strong families of faith at Concord.' Look for more details

WOMEN IN THE CHURCH

Ministry by and for every woman at Concord. WIC looks for ways to encourage women in service in and outside of the church. WIC organizes times of fellowship such as the Christmas and Mother/Daughter banquets and retreats.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ALL AGES

We use well-designed Bible-centered children's curriculum taught by committed, caring teachers to show our children Jesus and His love for them. We offer several adult classes each quarter that present either a particular topic, book of the Bible, or Biblical doctrine and show how to practically apply Biblical truths in daily life at home, school, work, or community. Check out our current classes

GOOD NEWS CLUB

Our Good News Club is a connection ministry to the students at Zahnow Elementary School, which enables us to connect to students within the school who live within our community with the opportunity to teach them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet on Wednesday afternoons following school, in the gym. We provide Bible stories, some review games, and lots of physical activity. All kids from Zahnow School are welcome to attend.
