What is Generations? Generations is a family ministry focused on working alongside parents to help their children mature in their faith. It is our desire to see this next generation grow up with a hearts desire to love God and to take His love to those who are in need through serving and sharing the gospel. We believe that the best way for our children to mature in these areas is by first growing them in their understanding and love for the gospel. When they begin to see and taste of the goodness and mercy of God as shown in the death of Christ for their sins, they will in turn love God for His grace that has been shown to them. Then, their hearts will be motivated to love and serve others with the hope that those who are in need would experience the same joy. We believe that the best way to pass the truths of the gospel on to our children is within the context of community. This is why it is important to have families meeting together on Sunday evenings because the adults are modeling their faith before these children as they interact with them through stories, lessons, songs, and games. Not only are they modeling faith to these children, but they are also developing relationships with them with the hope of validating to the other children that they also believe in what their parents are teaching them.
