About Us
How do we treat people?
We believe people need care and respect because they're made in God's image. We won't hassle or high-pressure you when you visit.
We believe people need understanding and encouragement because life can be tough. We will try to give you words of hope and care.
We believe people need people because that's how God makes us. We will try to be here for you if you want to build meaningful friendships.
We believe people need God because only he can satisfy our deepest needs. We will try to present God's Word in understandable and practical ways to make learning enjoyable.
The most important thing to ask about any church is "What does it teach?".
What do we teach?
That the Bible is all God's Word and therefore has practical answers to the most important questions in life and directions for how to live life with purpose and meaning.
That God offers all people a relationship with Him based on trust in Jesus Christ and not on what they can do for God.
That Jesus is God's Son who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, rose bodily from the grave, and now serves us as our mediator with our heavenly Father until He comes back a second time.
That God still works in and through people through His Holy Spirit to help each other and to impact our world.
That God wants us to share His goodness and His good news of forgiveness and eternal life with everyone we meet.
Obviously when people look for a church, they want to know what that church can offer.
What do we offer?
A service that is carefully planned to speak to both your mind and heart.
A message that shows the meaning and relevancy of the Bible. A family atmosphere where everyone has a place, adults and children, singles and married, single parents and widowed, young and old.
A caring atmosphere where your needs and cares matter, where people will be there to help you and pray with you.
A group of people who enjoy being with new people, who want to make each visitor feel like a valued guest and a new friend.
Most importantly, an opportunity to get to know God better, to discover His love and grace, and to simply enjoy being with Him.
